Policy

Library telephone numbers are blocked from caller ID. Calls from the library show as "Blocked" or "Unknown" and if patrons block calls from unknown telephone numbers, the call cannot go through. 

Procedure

To call a telephone number that blocks calls from unknown numbers:

1. Dial 9.555, then the area code and telephone number. such as 9.555.503.222.5555.
2. After the beeps, enter your individual long-distance code. If you do not have a long-distance code, please contact IT directly to request one at ServiceNow.
3. Search "long distance code", then select Telecom Request. Fill out the appropriate information and submit request.
