In an effort to reduce the environmental impact of the waste that our circulation procedures create, we will work toward streamlining this process to create the least amount of waste possible.

Rationale

These procedures are at the core of functionality at MCL.  By consistently working to limit our environmental impact we can increase sustainability.

Application

• Please recycle all blue receipts. The receipt paper we now use are chemical-free. Receipts with patron identifying information on them should be placed in the secure shredding bins for recycling
• When ordering from MultcoMarketplace (MMP), please choose recycled content post-it pads
• Shut off screens and machines at closing, except for software update nights
• Shut off printers at closing
