- This process requires User Administration permissions. All IMMS Champions have these permissions.
Editing IMMS user accounts
- Log into the IMMS Web Client on a laptop, desktop, or mobile device.
- From the menu on the left, choose IMMS Master Data, then Users. An alphabetical list of users will appear, with a search field.
- Check the “Include disabled users” box.
- Start typing a name (or partial name) in the search field.
- IMMS searches name and username at the same time, as you are typing.
- IMMS searches by character string, so a search for “art” will return all results with those letters grouped in that order (ARThur, cARTer, hARTley, mARTinez, etc).
- When you find the correct account, double-click on it (or select it and click the Edit button on the right-hand side of the screen).
- If the user has forgotten their password, set the password to Temp1 and mark the “Change at next login” box.
- Uncheck the “User blocked” box (if necessary).
- Update the user location (if necessary).
- Save the changes.
- Send or tell the user the Temp1 password.
