Policy

The library offers multimedia discs, including Blu-rays, DVDs, and CDs, for use at patrons' discretion and does not assume any responsibility for damages that may result to personal equipment.

Rationale

The library's multimedia items are used by a variety of people and we cannot test each item as it is returned - although we do a visual check of incoming materials.

Application

The library card application, which patrons are asked to read and sign, includes this policy. "Understand that the library is not responsible for any damages to personal equipment when using multimedia items."
