On November 4, from 9 to 10:30 am, please join Black and Beyond the Binary Collective for a session on creating a welcoming environment for trans library patrons. During this session, you will learn about ways to welcome transgender patrons into the library through:

• Using library materials to create a welcoming environment
• Appropriate pronoun use
• Information on trans identity
• Information to support transgender coworkers

To join this training, check with your supervisor, and then sign up in Workday. This session is limited to 40 participants and will not be recorded.
