Rationale

Multnomah County Library has created Welcome to Reading kits to help K-3rd grade students build reading skills and appeal to their interests. These kits also give parents an easier way to select and check out materials. Welcome to Reading kits are an important first step in enhancing the patron experience for beginning readers. This project was originally funded by The Library Foundation.
