TAcT members:

• Prioritize, lead, suggest, evaluate and/or consult on teen services projects.
• Develop and disseminate tools, resources and mentorship for staff that support teen services.
• Identify, coordinate and/or present relevant professional development opportunities for library staff.
• Consult and advocate with library decision makers in the areas of best practices, educational opportunities, trends, and possible new initiatives in teen services. TAcT is always a stakeholder in policies, decisions, projects and services affecting teens.
• Facilitate collaboration among teen services stakeholders.
• Provide regular opportunities for teen services stakeholders to network, problem-solve, and share information.
• Support and continue to develop ongoing initiatives including teen-created and teen-friendly policies and services.
