Policy
Customers may use their own equipment in the library only when the use of this equipment does not interfere with other customers' use of the library.
Application
- Customers may not play electronic sound equipment audibly.
- Facilities differ in their ability to provide electrical outlets or table space for large projects. Customers must ask rather than assume that such things will be provided.
- Customers may not move furniture or use outlets where there are library public access computers in order to accommodate use of personal equipment.
- Lines, cables or extra attachments that could be hazardous to other customers or staff may not be used.
- The use of cell phones in the library can be extremely annoying to others. Ask customers to step outside the library when using these devices at a loud volume. Cell phone use is allowed inside the library at modest volume.
