- Before putting any materials in a crate, be sure the end panels are locked in place.
- Books should be loaded in crates spine to spine.
- Crates should be packed up to just below the handle (2 inches of headroom). This gives the driver a space to put his hand in the crate to pick it up. NOTE: if you are packing a crate full of picture books or other large books, pack it only ¾ full. Picture books are especially heavy and it's difficult to move a full crate of them.
