Who we are
TAT’s mission is to review, recommend and communicate changes to Information Technology systems and practices that impact patrons and staff in Library public service locations.
Working with Library and County subject matter experts and information technology resources as required, we assess the frontline implications of technology-related initiatives and decisions. We address issues regarding hardware and software applications in the library computing environment. We make policy recommendations proactively and in response to queries from library staff, committees/action teams and administration. With direction from the Executive Management Team (EMT), we select and sponsor pilot initiatives on new technologies, review the results and make recommendations.
TAT also drafts and distributes communications on information technology initiatives, changes, and issues. We also solicit input from branch leaders and library staff to inform our recommendations.
