• Selectors have a routine procedure to identify and attempt to replace titles that have holds, but have no remaining copies.

Application

A report of titles with holds but no active items is reviewed weekly by Selections staff. If the title is suitable for replacement, more copies are purchased. If a title cannot be replaced, or the content is too out-of-date, the holds are cancelled. 

Records with no items do not display in Bibliocommons. Titles will be visible in Symphony until they are purged.
