Incident Review Team (IRT)

Details

About

Objectives

  • Align incident responses with county and library policy (including the library’s mission, pillars, and priorities).
  • Identify policies, practices, and actions that contribute to inequitable outcomes, and alert applicable members of EMT to associated concerns and recommendations (e.g. modify a rule or an exclusion progression).
  • Identify patterns and identify the most frequent rule violations or rule application inconsistencies and develop appropriate refresher training for PICs.
  • This is not to examine every PIC decision for its perfect adherence to the letter of the law, rather the review is to ensure that the exclusions were reasonable.
