Instructions for collecting single sided paper

  • Place paper in box blank side up so you know it really is fully blank on one side. Half blank sheets are not acceptable.
  • Absolutely no staples! Equipment damage could occur!
  • Absolutely no paper clips! Equipment damage could occur!
  • Absolutely no personal information-full names, phone numbers, email address etc... Shred such paper!
  • Paper that is a different size, such as leftover flyers, must be grouped separately from the regular letter size paper.

Improperly prepared paper cannot be cut and will be dumped in the recycle bin.

It is important to follow the above instructions to ensure that:

  • Each cut sheet is actually blank on one side (our patrons and fellow staff deserve such)
  • The commercial cutter in the Print Shop is not damaged
  • Patron and staff personal information is kept personal.
  • Scratch paper can be quickly and efficiently cut without need to sort out odd size or unusable paper
  • When your box is full: tape it closed, write "paper for scratch" on the box, send it to Admin. Print Shop, and Write PLEASE RETURN CONTAINER TO and your mail stop

Improperly prepared paper cannot be cut and will be dumped in the recycle bin.
