Video magnifier also known as closed circuit television (CCTV)

For people with low vision, Multnomah County Library provides magnifying lenses and/or magnification sheets at all reference desks at each branch upon request. For greater magnification, Central and Hillsdale libraries provide video magnifiers (see photo), also known as closed circuit televisions (CCTVs), for the public. The CCTV at Central is located with the microfilm readers in Periodicals on the second floor.
