ZoomText is magnification software for people with low vision available on Adaptive Technology stations at all locations of Multnomah County Library. ZoomText magnifies text and photos up to 36X so low vision patrons may still read material in a variety of formats, including websites, Word documents, and .pdf files. Library staff is not trained in the use of ZoomText, therefore patrons are expected to be familiar with it.

ZoomText works with Chat and E-mail reference services; however, it blocks the file-sharing/document delivery program from popping up. Please convert the question to an e-mail reference question, and attach the file (.pdf, .doc, etc.) to the answer.
