Floor Plan

Evacuation Responsibility:

• The person in charge is responsible for seeing that the entire building is evacuated, including:
• Public area (including restrooms and meeting room)
• Workroom
• Staff lounge

Evacuation Exits:

• Exit public areas through west exit (front door).
• Exit workroom and staff lounge through north exit (back door).
• Exit meeting room through east exit (emergency door in meeting room)
• CLOSE FIRE DOORS

Meeting Place:

• Minor event - Wells Fargo Parking lot (on corner of Denver & McClellan St)
• Major event - Middle of Kenton Park (one block west of Kenton Library on McClellan St & Brandon Ave)

Fire Extinguishers:

• Workroom: next to north "EXIT" door
• Public Area: beginning of children's area near front entrance, next to emergency exit door in meeting room
• Book drops:  self-activating extinguishers installed in book drop rooms

First Aid Kit:

• Workroom: mounted on wall next to door entering the public area, on bottom shelf in the large supply cabinet (in front of cubicle work stations)
• Public Area: in cupboard behind service stations (under register)
