- This page includes instructions for sales, reprint a patron or library receipt, void a transaction, and reprint a settlement (batch) report.
- If the machine will not turn on, plug it in to charge it. If that does not work, call the number on the machine for support.
Procedure
Take a payment
- Press Sale.
- Enter the amount to pay, then press the green circle button.
- Insert, tap, or swipe the card. Patrons may use apps, such as Apple Pay and Google Pay. These apps work the same as tapping the card on the machine.
- When the sale is approved, the transaction is completed.
Reprint a patron or library receipt
- On the main menu, press the Next button twice.
- Select the transaction to reprint, then select to reprint the merchant (library) or customer copy.
Void a transaction
Important: Only transactions from the current day can be voided. Credit/debit refunds cannot be done. See Refunds.
- On the mail menu, press Void.
- Select the transaction to be voided.
- When the void is complete, tear off the receipt and put it in the cash register.
Settlement reports
- Settlement reports should print each night with no staff action.
- If you need to reprint a settlement report, choose Settlement on the main menu.
- Confirm the settlement amount and put the receipt in the cash register or with your cash reconciliation documents.
