If you are helping patrons use Libby, they might want to know how to easily access some specific browsing collections, called "Guides" in Libby. The link to access the Guides in the Libby app and on the Libby website is located below the first curated collection in Libby:
Tapping the Guides heading will take you to the Guides landing page, were you can navigate to pages for the following collections, with direct links:
- Kids
- Teens
- Black Resource Collection
- Spanish
- Chinese
- Russian
- Vietnamese
- World Languages
- Indigenous Collection
- Magazines
On each page, you'll find curated collections for those specific audiences. One collection I wanted to highlight is the "Read-alongs" collection of kids e-books that read aloud, highlight words and turn pages and are a good option for emerging readers.
I create the collections on the Kids and Teen pages. The WSYL pages are managed by the WSYL selectors. I collaborate with the BRC and Indigenous selectors to keep those pages up to date. If you ever would like to see a collection added to these pages, please get in touch with the corresponding selector for assistance.
These pages are also accessible on the OverDrive website, under the Collections tab and the "Special" section therein (we have asked them to change this "special" header to "Guides" as well, but they have not done so).
