Switching out transport units at a physical chute (AMH):

1. In the IMMS app, select ‘Change transport unit at chute’ from the Main Menu.
2. Press the power button on the chute to turn it off.
3. Scan the RFID tag on the chute.
4. Scan the RFID tag on the new, empty TU
5. Press the power button on the chute to restart it.
6. Remove the old TU and route it appropriately. If needed, its contents can be moved to another TU.

Switching out transport units at a virtual chute (Symphony workstation):

1. In the IMMS app, select ‘Change transport unit at chute’ from the Main Menu.
2. Scan the RFID tag for the chute (this tag will be on a piece of cardstock at the workstation).
3. Scan the RFID tag on a new, empty TU.

4. Remove the old TU and route it appropriately. If needed, its contents can be moved to another TU.
