Evacuation Responsibility:
The person in charge is responsible for seeing that the entire building is evacuated, including:
- Public area
- Meeting Room
- Public restrooms
- Janitor's closet, Mechanical room, Electrical room, Telecommunications closet
- Staff area
- Staff restroom
Evacuation Exits:
- Exit the public area through the front door on the North (Woodstock Blvd) side of the building.
- Exit Meeting Room through the emergency exit (alarm will sound).
- Exit staff area South through doors to the library parking lot.
Meeting Place:
- James John School playground
- Fire Extinguishers:
- Public area - near door closest to staff workroom and circulation desk - ABC type (dry chemical].
- Public area - on wall between meeting room and janitor's closet - ABC type (dry chemical].
First Aid Kits:
- Staff workroom - on the wall, next to door to public area
- Staff workroom - under staff mailboxes
- Reference desk - behind counter
