EMT's purpose is to develop, prioritize and coordinate systemwide projects and initiatives to further Multnomah County Library's mission and strategic priorities. EMT subteams are future-oriented and focus on high-impact, systemwide issues. They research and respond to a problem or question assigned by the director of libraries.

The library’s executive management team (EMT) develops, prioritizes and coordinates systemwide projects and initiatives to further Multnomah County Library’s mission and strategic priorities.

Project prioritization: Develop and apply methods to prioritize projects and initiatives.
Sponsorship: Own and lead identified systemwide projects, delegating authority and gathering feedback from people and groups as appropriate.
