Connecting the IMMS wand for a new inventory session

1. Turn the wand on by pressing the Power button once. The Power light will turn on, and the Bluetooth light will start blinking slowly.
   Note: If the light is blinking more than once per second, the wand has switched to Wi-fi mode. You will need to go into the Settings and put it back in Bluetooth mode.
2. Turn the antenna on by pressing the RF button once. The Antenna light will turn green.
3. Open the IMMS Scanner Control app.
   1. If the app asks for permission to use your location, select ‘Precise’ and ‘While using the app’.
4. When the app opens, there will be two tabs: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Always use Bluetooth.
   1. Toggle the “Device” setting off and then back on.
      1. “Ready to connect” will be replaced by “Trying to connect”, then by “Connected: antenna is off Read:0”
      2. The Bluetooth light will turn OFF.
      3. Pressing the RF button will not only turn on the antenna but also update the message on the screen to read: “Connected: antenna is on”
5. Press the Home button to return to the IMMS App.
