Sensory tools for youth

Items for children and teens to assist with sensory processing differences are available at all public locations.

The Sensory Accommodation Kit (SAK) is available in the children's area of each library. Items are for in-library use only. Some spaces may also have have a small tent available for a calming space during storytimes and other programs as well as seating options such as a bean bag or squeezie seat.

The FAQ for the SAK includes information about use, tips for sharing with patrons, replacement, and where items were purchased.
