Quick Facts
- The COMMENT field contains specific, urgent and/or temporary information that staff may need to resolve before continuing to help the patron. It should be deleted once resolved. Example: update email address.
- The HISTORY field gives specific, non-urgent, long-term information to staff. Example: fees cleared.
- The ALT_NAMES field is used when a patron's ID lists a different name than the one on their registration form.
- The ALIAS field is no longer used. See Hold Privacy.
Procedure
The Extended Info tab is located in the patron's record. Short term and long term information can be stored here using the COMMENT and HISTORY fields. You can also add or view patron names.
Insert Row After helper adds a row below the box your cursor is in.
Insert Row Before helper adds a row above the box your cursor is in.
Delete Row helper deletes the row the cursor is in.
