Pulling and processing holds:
- Open the IMMS app and select ‘Picking’ from the Main Menu.
- Select Hold from the Order Types and tap ‘Next Step’.
- Check the box for the grouping you’d like to pull from (you can go as wide or as narrow as you like) and tap ‘Next Step’.
- Scan Transport Units (TUs) for the items you are pulling.
- For ‘Hold shelf’ (local holds), scan a location TU (cart/truck) or virtual Holds TU.
- For ‘Central sorting’ (transit holds), scan a system TU (crate) or virtual Transit TU.
- The list of holds to be pulled will appear, and you can start searching.
- Boop each found item with the Device, and put the item into the appropriate TU. The item will automatically be removed from the Hold list.
- Mark unfound items ‘Not Found’. The app will say they are being “discarded”, but don’t worry - they are actually being set to Missing.
- Skip items by tapping ‘Scan Later’ or swiping left.
Note: Additional display and scan options can be found under the ⋮ icon.
- Once a transport unit is full or you are done picking, tap the ⋮ icon in the bottom right corner.
- Select ‘Change transport unit’ to add an empty TU.
or - Select ‘Cancel Picking’ to end picking for now.
- Select ‘Change transport unit’ to add an empty TU.
- Process the picked holds.
- Check in holds for your branch via AMH or Symphony.
- Put transit holds directly into the outgoing delivery.
- Repeat the above steps as needed. Don’t stress about “finishing” the list.
- Any items not found will move on to another branch at the end of the day.
- New items may appear on the list throughout the day.
