Passwords
- The default password is birth date (mmddyyyy).
- Passwords can be reset by the patron in person, via chat and with Contact Center staff.

Symphony and Circ Manual
When searching for students in Symphony:
- Search by birthdate.
- Library Connect accounts can have both a library connect number AND a 21168 number. Both account numbers work with the same password.
- DO NOT DELETE Library Connect accounts, report duplicate User keys to the Contact Center. See Duplicate patron records.

Notifications are automatically set to mail. This can be changed using the update my account page.
If a student wishes to receive text notices, they should update their phone number as well. The data from the school district will likely have a parent/guardian phone number. That number may not accept text notices and/or the student may want texts to be sent directly to them for privacy.
