“You cannot sign in. The username or the password is invalid.”
You have entered a username and/or password that IMMS does not recognize.
Your IMMS username is the same as your Symphony username, unless you have negotiated otherwise.
Your IMMS password was set by you, and probably doesn’t match your Symphony password. If you have forgotten your IMMS password, any IMMS Champion can reset it.
"Discarding (Not found)"
The item is not being discarded/withdrawn. It is being set to Missing. No need for further action.
“The transport unit contains an item which is not allowed to be placed at this branch. No registration was created”
Use the "What is listed in IMMS about" wizard to scan the transport unit, then choose “Show Items”. Any exceptions should be at the top. You can move exceptions off of the transport unit by checking them out to any card and then checking them back in.
“The label was not correctly read”
Retry the scan. You may need to move the phone more slowly.
If the tag cannot be scanned after two more tries, it may need to be re-encoded or replaced. Follow branch procedures.
“There are registrations that have not been delivered. The registrations are made by [staff name]. When you sign in, these registrations will be sent in your username.” Followed by “There are registrations that cannot be delivered. If you sign out before the registrations are sent then IMMS will lack these informations.”
Email the Sort Center admins (Rod Madison and Genevieve McDaniel) and David Flood, and set that device aside until you hear back.
“An item in the transport unit has been taken for a hold at another branch”
Check the item out to any card and check it back in. This forces Symphony and IMMS to agree on a status, and usually resolves any holds associated with the item.
“The Transport Unit is not at this location”
Confirm you’re signed in at the correct branch.
If not: change your branch on the device.
If you are signed in at the correct branch and the issue persists, use the “Check Correct Delivery” wizard to update the TU.
A Location Transport Unit (cart/truck) shows a Destination of another branch.
There is an item with that Destination in the TU. Check the item out to a card and then check it back in. This should clear any status that's on the item.
Transport Units with content issues: Items that show on the truck when they shouldn’t (including “mixed content”).
